thanks! well, now i think maybe we don't need 'wired' for the title. it's obviously tryint to harmonize with wfy project, but 'wired youth' sounds like this blog is only for 'wired' kids. no?..what do you all think?
Does my hero have to be alive? If not being alive is ok my hero would be my tivo. It records shows for me when I'm not home. If my hero has to be a person then it would be my Dad.
wow, dads are pop. i can't believe it honestly. my dad is very strict and not talkative at al, so he could be a good dad but not in a way to be like a hero.
my dad was kind of like a second mom. very nurturing and caring. he did most of the cooking, laundry, etc, but then took me fishing and worked on father-son projects in the garage. when i was very young, 5 or 6, i remember asking my dad if we could plant a tree. (i had no idea how long it took for trees to grow.) so we planted an acorn in a pot with potting soil and kept it watered. some days i sat outside and watched. it wasn't very interesting, but i was pretty patient and easily entertained. today my oak tree is planted at my mom's house and is about 35 feet tall with a trunk as wide as a pancake. it's such a great feeling to go outside and look at it when i visit. maybe that's what having kids is like.

My heroine is She-ra, because she has a punk rock tiara, a magical sword and a pet unicorn. What more could a girl ask for?
